Conversations That Matter: Invitation to Participate in Survey for Independent Financial Advisors

Impact Communications is writing a Special Report called “Conversations That Matter: Addressing Client Concerns, Hopes and Dreams During Uncertain Times.”  This is an opportunity for independent financial advisors to weigh in on 2020's pandemic and economic realities.

We are especially interested in hearing your stories:
  • How did you adjust when the COVID-19 lockdowns, market turbulence, and business realities became apparent?
  • Where have you gone the extra mile? What have your clients valued most? 
  • Are you getting new business? Why do you think that is (or is not)?

  • I will be personally involved in the project and all of the corresponding content produced.

  • Your survey responses may be anonymous, if desired. Time to complete the survey is estimated to be 10 minutes or less.

  • As a special thank you, anyone who completes the survey by 10/12/20 will receive free access to a virtual training module* on building credibility, working with the media, and establishing your own professional thought leader platform.

We are looking for independent financial advisors who:
  1. Are working with clients on a fee-for-service basis (IARs, RIAs, hybrid advisors and dually-registered firms, with or without insurance licenses or an IBD relationship)
  2. Have a good online presence and a clean regulatory record
  3. Have demonstrated professional leadership, compassion and courage during the coronavirus lockdowns, 2020 market volatility, and political/social unrest
  4. Have retained -- and even grown -- their client base in spite of these difficulties
  5. Have interesting anecdotes from working with clients under duress in 2020 that could be woven into a special report, webinar and/or video series
  6. Would appreciate being positioned as a caring and competent professional in the Special Report as well as a corresponding news release, articles in industry trade journals, webinar speaker/panel invitations, interview opportunities, etc.
  7. Have the time to (a) complete the survey (linked below) by 10/13/20, and (b) if selected for an interview, complete an initial 30-minute conversation with me and one of my research/writing partners by 10/23/20
