FPA National Conference, Nashville, Tennessee, October 21 - 24, 2006 – Marie Swift, Karen Embry and Leslie Swid (all from Impact Communications) and dozens of Impact clients made a splash at the FPA Conference again this year. Book Expo America, Chicago, June 2004 – Sheryl Garrett and Marie Swift kicked off the media tour for the new book “Just Give Me the Answer$: Expert Advisors Address your Most Pressing Financial Questions” by attending the biggest annual event for writers and publishers. After attending the Seven Stages of Money Maturity workshop, Swift was so impressed with the curriculum that she recommends all advisors take the Kinder courses.
FPA Success Forum, Philadelphia, November 2003 – Marie Swift co-hosted a conversation with CFP Brent Hicks on "The Shift to Fees: Myths, Truths and Realities" at this year’s FPA Knowledge Café. The live, one hour conversation expanded upon the thoughts published in the article "The Shift to Fee-Only" (Financial Planning magazine, October 2003).
