Communicator Awards, June 2007 – Impact Communications received three new awards in this year’s competition. Swift’s column Focus on Financial Planning, written for and published exclusively by Research magazine, won a top-level Award of Excellence in the Writing/Column category (read Swift’s articles at www.researchmag.com). The firm also received an Award of Distinction for the corporate identity brochure “Wealth, Wisdom and Wellbeing” for San Diego-based client Asset Preservation Strategies (view Our Services / Online Portfolio to see other award-winning designs). An Honorable Mention was received for the advertorial “A Unique Approach to Investment Management,” created for Family Investment Center in St. Joseph, MO.

2005 MarCom Creative Awards – Impact Communications received four MarCom Creative Awards in an international competition that recognizes outstanding achievement. Most notably, president Marie Swift won a top-tier Platinum Award for her marketing communications column published in 2004 and 2005 on the esteemed financial services industry Web site www.MorningstarAdvisor.com. Additionally, two Gold Awards were presented: The first for the Business-to-Consumer brochure “Dream Big” created for advisor-client Jody Duncan, CFP®, of The H Group in Portland, OR (www.thehgroup.com). The second Gold Award received was for overall marketing and promotions for FocusPoint Solutions (www.FocusPointSolutions.com) in the award category Marketing/Promotion/Corporate Identity. 2005 Communicator Awards – Impact Communications, Inc. won four Communicator Awards in an international competition for Print Media. “Just Give Me the Answer$: Expert Advisors Address Your Most Pressing Financial Questions,” a 337 page book produced in collaboration with Sheryl Garrett, CFP® and The Garrett Planning Network, Inc., won a top-tier Crystal Award of Excellence for overall writing, production, project coordination and the corresponding national publicity campaign. The book and corresponding publicity campaign received top honors out of nearly 5,000 entries in the print media category alone. “Entries are judged by industry professionals who look for companies and individuals whose talent exceeds a high standard of excellence and whose work serves as a benchmark for the industry,” the Communicator Awards stated.

2005 Print Media Awards – The firm also won two Awards of Distinction, one for a custom slide show called “Creative Ways to Use Your Professional Photos” and one for an oversized B2B brochure called “FocusPoint Solutions Outrageous Brochure. ” A quarterly newsletter called “Garrett News and Views” received Honorable Mention.

APEX Award for Publication Excellence, August 2005 – Impact Communications received two more Awards for Publication Excellence. One for best logo makeover and corporate identity creation for revamping Retirement Plus, Inc.'s public image. Another one for best marketing campaign concept and execution for their work producing the "Just Give Me the Answer$" book and related promotions.

APEX Award for Publication Excellence, August 2004 – Impact Communications received an Award for Publication Excellence in the category Logos, Stationery and Graphic Standards Materials from Communications Concepts, a respected industry group. Celebrating sixteen years of excellence, this international competition is an annual event for writers, editors, publications staff and business and nonprofit communicators. Impact Communication's award winning entry was the creation of a new brand logo and brand new corporate identity package DaVinci Strategic Advisors.
