Leesy Palmer – Media Relations Team / Special Projects
Leesy Palmer holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Organizational Communication from the University of Texas, Austin. She joined Impact Communications in 2009. While her strength is working with the media and building strong client relationships, she is also a good writer, strategic thinker and project manager. She especially enjoys developing marketing plans, planning client events, creating presentations and other creative communications materials, and positioning clients via SEO news releases. She is the lead faculty member for the online Media Mastery University class, hosted by Impact Communications.
Leesy began her marketing career with the international educational not-for-profit organization, Up With People™
where she managed the details of public relations efforts in over a dozen markets, simultaneously, including scheduling advertising and developing publicity programs while working side-by-side with demanding corporate sponsors. Leesy continued her efforts in the corporate world by working with the largest energy company in Texas where she helped educate and guide top-level customers on the competitive market and impending change in their industry.
Leesy enjoys family life in Dallas where there’s never a dull moment with school activities, family reunions, picnics, and BBQs. Fourth of July is a big deal at the Palmer residence.
